Your local driving instructor

City Driving School teaches people to drive a manual car. Lessons are one to one with your instructor, from the first controls through to driving that is ready for the practical test.

Your instructor picks you up inside the covered London postcodes. On test day, the lesson can include the drive to one of the practical test centres listed on the areas page. After you pass, Pass Plus is available and includes the DVSA certificate.

A lesson is time in the school car. You work on moving off and stopping, junctions, roundabouts, and the roads you will use on the way to the test. Your instructor explains what went well and what to practise next.

Lessons are manual only. You book a time in advance, and your instructor meets you in the covered area.
